94 years ago, on November 26, 1930, the immortal classic of Belarusian literature Uladzimir Karatkevich was born.
Recently, the Lukashenka National Library even said that "the most popular author among Belarusians is Karatkevich." On the one hand, they demonstrate the priceless heritage of Belarusian literature, and on the other, they exclude its books from the school curriculum, as "those that do not contribute to the formation of historical memory in schoolchildren." In addition, his books are selected from the libraries of the colonies. The memory is also "not like that".
Even in Karatkevich's quotes, the rottenness of the current regime shines through:
Who forgets his ancestors - loses himself, who forgets his language - loses everything
Do the unexpected, do what never happens, do what no one else does - and then you will win!
Where is my land? Where people will never be slaves!
